I must admit that if I'd had a babysitter I'd have left Jake at home but I didn't so he had to come too.
I dashed out tonight to see The Pursuit of Happyness. It was only showing at our local cinema for one night and I didn't want to miss it. I didn't realise this was a preview showing and it's not really opening till Friday. (Am never quite sure why cinemas do this. It's either opening on Friday or it's not).
I went in pursuit of happiness and found happyness indeed.

I was just zipping through Bill Ford's newsletter this morning, very quickly before I started work, honest guv, and I was taken with his passing comment about music. He says:
"If you haven’t heard the song ‘Hallelujah’ done by Jeff Buckley, then you have
a treat in store. It is almost a life-changing song. Play it at night when the
house is still or late at night on the motorway on your own. It touches me in
parts I didn’t know could be reached."
Now I'm pretty sure I haven't come across this or I guess I would have remembered, but doesn't this sort of comment just make you want to dash off and find it quick?

Our small Attractors group re-convened on a bridge line this evening for the first time since before Christmas. In theory this is a group of six or seven of us who want to explore and discuss the principles of the law of attraction with like-minded others. In practice, there has been a core group of three with others sliding in and out from week to week.
Tonight we were the core group, meeting to decide whether, and if so how, we want to continue these weekly calls. There was a feeling amongst us that we had run a little out of steam as a weekly group call, and that we might move to a Google Group and throw the world an invite.
But the energy changed as the call developed...

I am rather chuffed with the wonderful journal Judith has given me for 2007, called The Sacred Journey, a picture of which you will find in my book list, below left.
It's a chunky multi-faceted 'daily journal for your soul' with loads of space for everything from the pragmatic stuff - annual and monthly goal-setting, highlights and insights, mid-year reviews etc, to the more mystic and spiritual - symbolism, spiral spreads and paths of service, which I'm mostly still trying to get my head round.
And it's the symbolism aspect I've been focussing my attention on.
