A friend managed to convince me over the weekend that her two top secret weapons in her fitness armoury were:
- Walking for 40 minutes a day, and
- Drinking 2 litres of water a day
So I managed to persuade Wise Marion on Monday that we should experiment with the same.
What happened?

I just realised this morning why I haven't blogged for a while. I've had a computer/news overload. Too much information has reached my brain, and I don't even buy a newspaper.

I bought a pair of Birkenstocks recently, pink natch. And I've been practising wearing them at home, but today is my first day out of the house in them. Friends swear by them for comfort and so on, and so I thought it was worth a go (after a few years umming and aahing) but walking in them is quite a challenge. And so today is their first trip outside.
Driving? Hmm, a bit dodgy, but we got through unscathed, but then it was before 6 a.m! I dont think I would want to wear them in tense traffic conditions, and I'm inclined to think that bare feet would be better for driving.

A while back I went to an evening talk at Alternatives to see my own coach, Michael Neill, talk about his new book You Can Have What You Want and during the course of the evening he reminded us about something he had already alerted me to, Spiritual Self Care.

At last spring seems to have arrived and I am finding that with the warmer weather my use of aromatherapy oils with clients changes. If you use aromatherapy oils at home, at work do you always use the same oils? Why not try changing your oils?

One week ago today two amazing things happened. It has been a brilliant start to the spring and has left me feeling enthusiastic and energized again, after a fairly long winter.

I've been for a walk this morning! I don't generally like walking, its too slow for me, I'm a driver with plenty of acceleration to boot. However, today was a lovely day, the first day its been warm enough on whim to decide to walk to my errands instead of drive as I generally do. And my knees were up to it, and its been a few months since I could say that, so I thought I would try out my new knees and see what happened.

I have an urge to spring-clean. It's only an urge, mind - I have no intention of actually acting on it! I shall instruct the cleaning lady to do the windows this very week.
There is a different light already, have you noticed? You want to be able to see through the windows to the world beyond, the world of optimism, light and oncoming warmth. I do have three or four days at home this week listening to the Global Phone Conference, perhaps I will spend some time cleaning windows when I am listening to the wisdom of others?
Watch this space, but don't hold your breath.

Is there any such thing?
Wise Marion and I have just returned from 2.5 days conferencing in The Holiday Inn, Gatwick. We are both coaches for The Money Gym and it was our Internet Workshop, which I co-hosted.

It seems like almost everyone you speak to these days is sprouting. From (at least one of the Three Wise Women) to the osteopath they are all raving about their little seeds.
